Okashii started his way down a path in Sunagakure. He passed many buildings and villagers, they all pretty much knew who he was, they also weren't too happy with the fact that he was in their village at that time. Sunagakure and Konohagakure weren't in good standings, they were both extremely weak from the war that had finally ended. There seemed to be peace between the two villages however it was a peace that would easily be broken. The villagers saw Okashii alot, which was why they didn't do anything rash. They knew that he was a kind person and that he wasn't there to cause any trouble what so ever. They alway saw him going to the village graveyard, however they didn't know why that was. It was a mystery to all of them and none of them wanted to just go up and ask him, for even though they knew he wasn't going to threaten the peace they still felt resentment against him.

Okashii didn't care, for he was always coming to that village for a specific reason. As he headed straight for the graveyard, all that he had with him was one scroll and flowers. Okashii was always known for carrying many things, especially scrolls. He used alot of them in battle, and anyone that ever faced him knew that however anyone that ever faced him didn't live long enough to tell other people about it. He was one of the strongest shinobi that ever lived, yet he wasn't the smartest. That's why he didn't want to become Hokage, for being such a thing would take alot from him, he would often have to make important decisions and doing that wasn't exactly one of his strong points. He was often offered to take the position, however he turned it down everytime. He loved the freedom of being one of the legendary three, a freedom that he definitely wouldn't have if he took on the role as Hokage.

Finally when he reached the graveyard, he slowly walked over to a certain grave with his head down and his eyes closed. He sat down and took out a pack of cigarettes and a zippo liter. Before he lit one up, he set the flower on the grave. After that he immediatly lit it up and began smoking. He wasn't his usual happy self, infact he was the opposite. He was gloomy every single time he came to that place. That being true, he still made a promise that he was going to go there at least once every 2 months and he did. As he sat there next to the mysterious grave, he began thinking about his own life. He was 24 and already a Sannin, the youngest person to ever be made one. Which was exceptional, however after that happened he had nothing. No more amibtions to take on, nothing at all. Him and his best friend had promised one another that no matter what happened they would keep moving and they would keep getting stronger.

Okashii's friend was now dead, meaning Okashii couldn't live up to that promise together with him however he still planned to live up to it. There were still things that Okashii could learn, but he didn't want to get to the point where he would be too powerful for his own good. He didn't want to be driven to evil or anything like that. He was a single man with no family and no friends, didn't have a girl friend either. He was the only person that had been made a Sannin because of the fact that there was no longer a Hokage, the old one had gotten sick and eventually died. He was a one of a kind rank for now, untill a Hokage could name 2 others, a female and a male. There hadn't been any Sannin sense Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke. Hopefully the next Sannin would be as powerful as Okashii. Still he sat there, and something unexpected happened. It started to rain. Okashii looked up, now having a smile on his face and then back at the grave. The name on it was read, "Kemo Uchiha."

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by xoxKitKat Thu Dec 04, 2008 5:47 pm

It was unusually cloudy in Sunagakure. The skies, darkened by what the woman determined was storm clouds left shadows creeping up the walls of the sanded houses, sending a chill up her elegant spine. It was quiet, the villagers having sought out shelter in their homes, locking their doors and shutting their windows. Many who lived here enjoyed the beating sun and the non-stop rays of light that warmed the skin and created a joyous appearance. It was a lie, Ruii knew; the fake happiness that made the place seem so much more welcoming. As a shinobi, she knew where the village was suffering and how many now lived in poverty because of the war. So many scoured the streets looking for food and kind souls who would take pity on them.

It wasn't often that someone was kind here. It was a hard village; the environment nearly impossible to grow vegetables in. People learned to live off as little as possible, not spoiling themselves or their children. Secretly, the azure haired woman dislike the brash uncaring feel the village had, but it was her home and like any; it had its flaws. Raking her bare hand through her locks, she shook them lightly, the light pieces falling around her shoulders and framing her heart-shaped face. She was not wearing any ninja gear, her clothing and weaponry placed at home. Today was her day off, and as she wondered around, absentmindedly thinking about the coming rain, Ruii waved to the villagers. It was funny, walking around and them not knowing a thing about her career.

She was a chameleon, who blended in when the time was right then jumped out and to show her true colors when the moment came. Ruii enjoyed her job as a commanding ANBU officer, it gave her the freedom she wanted, but the danger of a hunt that she craved. The woman could see herself as a Hunter Nin, but for some reason it did not call out to her like the rank of ANBU did. She felt honorable and righteous, although she knew her job was nothing of the sort. She was a killer, slaughtering those who went against her village, a good reason or not. For the nuke nins in her Bingo Book, Ruii didn't research them, knowing she'd see the person they were and feel the gut retching guilt. She hated that feeling; knowing that she was merely killing for money. She'd feel bought out and wrong...

Licking her lips, the ANBU rubbed her bare arms unconsciously. She was wearing a strapless top, the empire type waist cinching in nicely to her body shape. It flowed away in a curtain of white and pink, the fabric partially see through. Her tight compression shorts moved easily with her as she took step after step, her pace slow and moderate. Ruii never knew the feeling of rushing, always taking her time. Smiling slightly, she let out a giggle as the first raindrop fell on her nose. Throwing her head back as it began to pour, her arms raised high she spun rather girlishly. Finding herself near the grave yard, she nearly continued walking by but noticed the figure of a man bent over a grave.

Ruii had seen him here before, his face and name one she'd hardly forget. He probably didn't even know who she was; but knowing that such a powerful ninja was here, in Sunagakure no matter if he was grieving for a lost friend made the shinobi smile. He was only 4 years older then herself, and even though the gap was small, his strength and name were so much bigger than hers. He was one of the few idols she had, and the woman knew she had nothing but respect for the man. He was something else. Tilting her head to the side, she slowly made her way toward him, her step silent and chakra hidden. When she was close enough, she sat down next to him, her form small compared to his.

"My father always told me grieving alone was a type of suffering," she said, her voice quiet yet strong. She didn't look at him, her gaze straight ahead as to not intrude. Ruii knew he came here often and as she sat beside him, her chakra keeping the rain droplets off of him, she smiled slightly, content to sit and wait for him.

Okashii paused for a second and then looked over at the woman, he was completely unable to tell that she was coming over to him. He tilted his head slightly with a tiny smile. Getting a good look at her face, he couldn't place who she was exactly. That wasn't unusual though, he hardly knew anyone from Sunagakure. Not many of the villagers ever tryed to open up to him. This woman however gave him a good vibe, he felt like she was trust worthly and he actually liked having at least some company. He was only really social with toads, for he had always been away training in order to get to the level he was at. He was a truly acceptional shinobi, however socially he knew absolutely nothing. He didn't know what to say in any given conversation however that was simply because he didn't usually think before he talked, he simply said what he wanted.

Some people would call that arrogance, some people would say that he was simply just a friendly type of guy with a lot of confidence. Okashii didn't know what was true about him, however he didn't really care. People respected him alot, however he didn't care about respect, he just wanted friends. "I'm probably behond grieving." he stated now making direct eye contact with the woman. He came there simply because he blamed himself for his best friends death. He left the village for a while to train with the toads, and when he came back his friend had left the village. Okashii searched for many years trying to find him only to figure out that he was killed and not even buryed in Konohagakure, his home. Okashii thought that he was partially his fault, because if he had been there then his friend wouldn't have left the village.

The woman was kind of a mystery to him, the mere fact that she was able to hide her chakra while she came up meant that she was probably skilled in that art, alot. Okashii had the skill of being able to detect chakra, therefore he knew that she had to be a pretty high rank of Suna. When he stared into her eyes, he noticed that they were all white. That interested him, it reminded him of aHyuuga from his own village. For all he knew she was a Hyuuga and she had left the village, however that didn't really matter to him. He wasn't there to pick fights, and he didn't start them either. If he started a battle with every rogue ninja that he saw he would be fighting everytime he left Konoha for one of his trips. Plus he didn't know whether Suna had some kind of similar clan, or maybe she was even just born with white pupils. He wasn't going to assume anything.

He didn't really know what to say, for he normally didn't have the company of anyone. "Okashii Namikaze." He said, hoping that she would tell him her name after that. He was proud just saying the name Namikaze, it made him happy. He figured that she would probably know who he was either by that last name or by the full name, for he was pretty famous among the villages. Namikaze was a very popular name because of his father, and his grandfather, and especially his great grandfather. He came from a family of extremely powerful shinobi, and he surpassed them all. He grinned for a moment at the thought of what she said, taking time out of her day to simply keep him company when they didn't know one another.

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by xoxKitKat Thu Dec 04, 2008 11:37 pm

Feeling his stare, she smiled slightly, her lips quirking to the side. It was a rather boyish grin that gave a hint to the dimples she was in possession of. Turning toward him, her white eyes looking at his face gently, the woman propped her hand up on a drawn in knee, her head resting in the cradle she had made. It was interesting, his lack of confidence in the conversation. Usually, it'd be mistaken as cockiness how he introduced himself so quickly, but Ruii was known for her analyzing skills and she saw right through it. It was almost if he wasn't used to being around people. It astonished her really. To the shinobi, Okashii Namikaze was an idol and if she was the type of girl to act clingy, this man would be the one she'd hold a sign about.

He was like a star to her and it seemed weird that he was troubled with simple conversation. Of course, she thought silently, her eyes studying and observing him unbeknown to the nin, maybe because of his time training which she assumed took up ALOT of his time kept him away from people and the large adoring fans she knew he had. There were alot of young female shinobi who had the hots for him. Giggling at the thought, her eyes crinkled for a moment, the opals shining with her joy before she got a hold of herself an realized, she hadn't said anything. He most likely thought she was weird.

"Ruii," she said, introducing herself, "And I know who you are Okashii-kun!" Smiling she looked up at the sky lazily before continuing, "You are the descendant of Konoha's Yellow Flash, Minato; Yodaime Hokage and Uzamaki Naruto, Rokudaime Hokage! You have Minato's gift of the speed and his jutsus along with Naruto's Sage Arts." Winking at him, the shinobi laughed quietly, pausing for a moment. It seemed weird, talking about his abilities like this. She seemed stalkerish, but because of her connections, Ruii knew nearly everything on anyone she wanted to know about. it was interesting and a wonderful advantage when going into battle, but then she never shared it with someone!

Laughing nervously, she grabbed a handful of wet hair and tugged lightly, "I know it must seem weird," she murmured, "How i know so much about you, Okashii-kun... But I have been following your journey to Sanninhood for quite some time." In fact, right now, Okashii was 3rd in her bingo book. Smiling at the off topic thought she shut that part of her mind off. He had never done anything to her, and although the bounty on his head was marvelous she would not be the one to claim it.

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by Last Temptation Fri Dec 05, 2008 12:19 am

Okashii smiled with his eyes close for a second, he blushed lightly but put his head down so she wouldn't see that. He didn't lift his head up for a few seconds, and then began to shake a little bit. He had to think of her name a few times in his head so he wouldn't forget later on. "Ruii-chan...Ruii-chan...." He thought to himself. Not a moment later he finally couldn't contain himself, he began to burst in laughter. The thought of him being an idol to other people. He knew that he was pretty strong, but to actually have fans and beautiful women such as her following his story. That was a huge honor for him. The laughter went on for a while, and he felt like he couldn't stop. He figured that she would just be sitting their wondering what was so funny, and would want an explananation. He was going to give her one as soon as he could stop himself.

He looked at her when he finally stopped with a large grin, "To think that I actually have fans! I never heard of anything like that. Beautiful women for fans too! Truly exciting!" he shouted out, looking as if he was some kind of young child. This was the attitude that made alot of the people like him, he was pretty much just a goof, regardless of his strength. "But really, what did you hear about me?!" he asked, he was astounded. He knew that alot of people might had knew of him simply because he was a Sannin, but people actually knew his strengths and abilities. He wanted to hear everything about it, if she really knew about him. She knew that he was good with Sage Arts, which wasn't exactly correct, and she knew that he had the speed of Yondaime, well he was probably even faster than Yondaime, with his technique.

He grinned at her, but he felt like he was being kind of selfish. He indeed wanted to know more about her as well but he felt like he may be passing a boundry that would make her mad if he crossed it. Asking about her personal life, something he didn't want to do was just piss her off. This was the first social contact he had with someone in a while considering he hadn't seen Keisai in a while which he wondered why that was. Keisai was sent on some kind of special mission, and said that he would meet up with Okashii afterwards. It had been a while however Okashii wasn't worried about his friend, for he knew that Keisai was probably the level of a Sannin, and the man could take care of himself. The good thing about their friendship for Keisais benifit was if Keisai was with Okashii, the Jounin would be allowed to come and go in the village, pretty much just like a Sannin.

He thought if one thing she had said, that it must have been weird. However it was way more suprising than weird. He had never heard of someone that actually thought of him as some kind of star, he was always simple just Okashii, Konoha's Goof Ball. It was kind of funny how she knew everything there was to know about him yet he knew nothing about her. That was the only thing he thought was weird.

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by xoxKitKat Fri Dec 05, 2008 12:59 am

His laughter seemed to be infectious. It caught hold of her like the flu, causing the woman to smile widely; revealing her even white teeth before she too began laughing. It was so funny, she thought mildly, her head tilted back and eyes closed shut as she took in the merriment, how something so little as sitting beside him gave her the chance to laugh with the only man she really, really respected. It was wonderful, the whole scene. Him laughing with her and not to mention just tuning out her voice and listening to his. It was so carefree and happy, making Ruii glad that she had taken the chance and sat down beside him. He had looked so sad when she first approached him, his head tilted downwards as he smoked. Maybe it was guilt he felt, the ANBU captain didn't know, but this was not something she'd look into. Death was a private matter and no matter how much she craved the knowledge, Ruii would not step over that line.

Smiling as the laughter slowly drowned out and was replaced by the pitter pattering of the rain on the earth which sucked it up greedily, Ruii waited quietly, sensing he wanted to speak. It was so easy for her to read him and it made it better to know he wasn't trying to hide something from her. This was turning out to be a good day, she thought giddily, maybe I should take more days off... Turning her attention back to him, she listened happily as he spoke about himself and his disbelief on the fact that he did have fans and people who greatly respected him and his status. Laughing shortly, her eyes alight with excitement, The azure haired woman insisted, "You do so! I swear, Okashii-kun that you're blind! Don't you ever notice the woman who stalk you?!"

Secretly, Ruii was loving the familarity she felt with him, how he didn't even mind how she didn't use -san or -sama, to show his rank. It seemed that around him she just couldn't help but smile. "There are so many things that I've heard!" She said, referring to his question, "Of course all of them aren't good, but what can I say? You are no angel!" Laughing good-naturally, she patted his shoulder in a comforting way before withdrawing her hand and continuing, "I know your 24 and although I don't know your birthday, I can bet you don't really celebrate it without being forced to. Keisai of the parasite clan, Abura is one of your closest friends, he is currently on a mission. The details are very vague!" Pausing for a moment, she bit her lip, again embarrassed on how much she knew. God, she muttered to herself, She did sound Stalkerish!!

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by Last Temptation Fri Dec 05, 2008 1:25 am

Okashii's eye brow lifted for a second after hearing more of what she actually knew. He thought about it for a second, and realized that the only way she could have known that Keisai was on that mission was if she was some kind of spy, or something of that nature. Possibly an ANBU elite. It didn't matter though, for Okashii was there to have fun. He was still interested in hearing what her story was and after she revealed her name Okashii would have thought that he would know who exactly she was however he still didn't. He simply had no idea. The name Ruii, it really didn't ring a bell to him. He was happy that she was laughing with him and he was impressed with her happy nature. "I must be blind because when I said beautiful women...I really only meant you." he said while scratching the back of his head.

He had a large grin on his face, and he hoped that she wouldn't take that the wrong way and slap him or something, however he was very interested. He thought of yet another thing that she had said, about the whole there were some bad things that she had heard about him. He didn't really care that much because like she had stated he wasn't some kind of Saint and he wasn't perfect as much as he would like to think otherwise. He didn't give it much more thought, he simply smiled at her awaiting her to say something. He had never met someone that was this friendly to him. He might have stepped behond his boundries by saying that she was beautiful however she might just take it simply as a nice compliment and move on with the conversation. He didn't really know her, so he didn't know how she would react.

He thought for a second about her, interested in who she was. Her description reminded him of someone. He had a profile on a woman that looked alot like her. He couldn't remember the name on it, but he at least was going to try. He thought further on it and finally figured it out. She was Ruii Hyuuga, who left Konohagakure and was not seen sense. Not much was known about her, infact nothing else was known about her. "Ruii Hyuuga." he thought to himself, looking at her with a grin. He didn't really care either way. He figured that she had her reasons for leaving Konoha, and he also knew that she was no threat to Konoha, for she was an extremely nice person. He may have been miss judging her.

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by xoxKitKat Fri Dec 05, 2008 7:18 pm

He thought she was beautiful? Well... wasn't that odd. Smiling at him brilliantly, her head tilting to the side lazily having given up on propping it up with her hand, she leaned back on her hands. Legs folded together like a monk's position she locked her arms so she could lean back and look at him over her shoulder, her face turned toward him. It was an interesting pose that most couldn't carry off without looking awkward, but it seemed to just work for the woman. Letting out a laugh, Ruii continued to smile, her eyes sparkling with good humour, "Well aren't you a charmer, Okashii-kun!" Giggling, she reached over playfully, balancing herself on one arm and good naturally smacking his cheek lightly. "How many girls have you used that on?"

Winking at him to show she wasn't really serious, the ANBU member grinned cheekily. It was nice to hear that her idol thought of her to be pretty, no beautiful. It wasn't often that a shinobi heard comments like that from other members of her career. So many people were hard and cold, not taking the time she did to stop, and smell the roses. It was important to her, to be able to just laugh and enjoy the small things in life. Everything that turned into something huge had once started out as small as a flower's seed. It was just like that mustard seed story she had read about in a biblical book that she didn't really understand. The tree was small and useless then something happened to make it important. She didn't really remember the story. Ruii was never good with things like that.

"Well," she started lazily, her musical voice drawling out; stretching the syllables, "You aren't too bad yourself." She was referring to his looks. The woman went about it almost casually and off-handedly like she really didn't care what he appeared as, which was true. She did not sit beside him because he looked cute and handsome, no; Okashii looked like one of the wilted flowers she found in the forest once, its petals curled together like it was trying to protect itself. The vision of such a strong ninja going through such a heart-tearing situation made her walk over and sit next to him. She was happy that now he didn't seem so gloomy and that the short downpour was already beginning to dissipate, the rain slowing to a drizzle. Grinning up at the sky, she wondered how the weather had picked the perfect time to set the scene. Maybe it was fate that made Mother nature thoughtful.

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by Last Temptation Fri Dec 05, 2008 8:05 pm

Okashii smiled for a second and then stood up quickly looking around. He was interested in the village, it was so different then the last time he was there. For one, it had never rained, ever when he went there which was an interesting sight. He strechted himself and yawned for a second and then looked over at Ruii, he thought about asking her if she wanted to go someowhere and do something but he figured that he might be stepping over a boundry by doing that, he figured she was also probably going to be busy. Still he knew that it would simply be nice to have some company with him while he wondered Sunagakure for a while, he didn't really have any specific plans. He was interested in seeing what Sunagakure had to offer. He hadn't really walked around there when he visited simply because he got weird vibbs from the villagers that he wasn't really welcome.

He looked around yet again. He didn't really even know where he could go or what he could do there, but he knew that because they were so dry that they could probably use Okashii, spending some money. Okashii didn't really have alot considering he didn't really go on missions for Konoha anymore, however sometimes he would do side jobs, so he had enough. A slight smile overturned him as he looked back at her and stared for a second, "Eh, I really have no idea what I want to do next, I'm all free of training for the day so I was thinking I'd stick around here for a little bit and meet some people, maybe have some food. Expect I really don't know my way around here so would you possibly care to join me?" he asked with the same excitment he had before. "You know, like show me around." he stated. He had a large grin on his face and began to chuckle a little bit as he scratched the back of his head.

It was interesting, how he had all that energy and he was always so friendly yet he really had only one friend. He figured that atleast now by asking Ruii he might become friends with her. He thought for a second back on their conversation, how he seemed to be some kind of idol or star to her. That never crossed his mind when he did countless training all the time, day in and day out. He loved it though, he loved the fact that he had actually got his own name out there instead of people simply knowing him from his grandfather and his great grandfather. His father had not gotten the proper respect for his talents like Okashii and the rest of the Uzumaki/Namikaze did. Minato the second wasn't a very popular name. However he had always had respect for his father, and was always proud of him. It didn't matter that he was just a Jounin from Konoha, he was still an idol for Okashii.

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by xoxKitKat Sun Dec 07, 2008 6:10 pm

She grinned cheekily, getting to her feet quickly, her body swaying bonelessly into a standing position. She moved with a natural grace, her frame long and lean as she stretched her arms above her head and let out an excited laugh. Having lived here since she could remember, Hyuuga Ruii knew every corner of the village; including the hot spots for tourism, although Sunagakure didn't see many different faces. It wasn't often that people would visit here; the days too hot, the nights too cold and the constant sand storms that occurred without a pattern. They were surrounded by desert, making it very hard for merchants to make it here. But those that did, were treated nciely and gained much coin. But that was before; when Suna had been prospering. The times had changed though, and now, it was lucky if half the people of the village had dinner at night.

Frowning at the saddened thought, she looked at Okashii, thinking hard. What would he do if he looked around the harder parts of Suna and saw the poverty and death that surrounded the area? Would he look at her in disgust, thinking that she had not done anything for these people? The thought of him judging her so harshly, frightened the woman. Ruii had given much of her own ryo to the people who couldn't afford food. She bought for them, handing the poor clothing and blankets, the necessities they needed to survive, but it was never enough; it never would be. Biting her lip, she turned back to Okashhi, staring at the blonde man hard as she thought about her choices. She could take him around to places she knew he would like and appreciate; places she loved personally, but that wouldn't be showing him all of the heart and truth that created where she lived and although some parts of the once prospering village weren't pretty; she loved every inch of it.

Taking a big breath, she smiled again at him; tilting her head to the side for a moment before she gently grasped his hand and began making her way out of the graveyard. She pulled lightly on his arm, dragging him a few steps before he began to gradually walk along side of her. Already, the earth was once again dry, sucking up the water like a dehydrated person would drink through the well. The area didn't even look like just moments ago, sleet had come down upon it. It was simply a desert once again. Looking up at the sky, the blue haired beauty spoke quietly, her voice soft and calm, "You know, Okashii-kun," she began, a slight choke in her words, "Suna had once been so beautiful, but now; there is so much death and misery around us, I feel that sometimes a cloud shines over that sun overhead, that beats so brightly, and that's why it rains. Even mother nature weeps for the horror that now runs through a village." She looked away, shamed for a moment.

"Although Kazekage-sama is working hard to rebuild, there is always poverty here. I know its not the best part of the village, but it makes Suna what we are. We're fighters," she said with a wry smile; something that changed the gloomy mood that was beginning to fall over the two of them. Squeezing his hand she laughed then, "Its the reason why we're all still alive. We're just too damn stubborn!" Picking up her slow, easy gait, Ruii began to pull on the blonde man's hand once again, "Come on, Okashii-kun! If you're only here for a day, we better hurry!"

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by Last Temptation Mon Dec 08, 2008 3:46 am

Okashii's face began to light up quickly has she began tugging on his hand and wanted him to hurry. He had to think about what she had said though, Much death and misery. That was almost how Konoha was left however the will of fire remained meaning that Konoha was able to keep much strength and was still the strongest of the shinobi villages. Second would probably be Sunagakure, or maybe Kiriagakure. Okashii didn't really know for sure because he hadn't really been active on missions to any of those places for a while. He had been training, and it took alot of him. On his days off he relaxed, sometimes just hung around Konoha. He would never do missions anymore. Mission were how he got to where he was. He did alot of missions which helped him develope and then he did alot of training and hard work. Slowly he was able to become very strong.

Even though that was true, that Suna wasn't what it used to be Okashii still found it pleasent. He liked the fact that the people were quite, however it didn't have a feeling of peace like Okashii would want. He pondered on how he could help out this village, for he was always thinking of ways that he could better Konoha and if he did something to help Sunagakure then they would surley be greatful and a true alliance might be able to be made between them which was really all that Okashii wanted. He didn't care about the other villages, because he didn't really trust any of the other ones. For some reason he just knew that Suna wasn't hiding anything, and they probably just wanted peace with Konoha as well. Okashii wasn't going to become Hokage however he would make sure that he would do atleast some of the duties that a Hokage would do sense there was none.

When he was pulled forward, his foot kicked a rock out that ended up going several feet and over way infront of a home. Okashii sighed for a quick second and then began to walk with her, after that they picked up speed and began running. Okashii stopped for a second and began to think, he could basically go wherever he wanted at that exact moment. However he didn't know his way around Sunagakure so all he could do was ask her to point in the direction that they should go and then Okashii would take them there. That was the good thing about his abilities, he was able to teleport with his Tengoku without using up that much chakra. He was also able to go back in time however that was an extremely hard jutsu for Okashii to accomplish. He for some reason could only use it once every year and he is drained clean of his chakra after it. It takes him several days to get any of it back.

He grinned at her as they just stood there. "If speed is what we need, hold on to me and point in the direction we need to go...I can get us there fast." He stated, he was very happy with himself for some reason. "Unless there is some sights that we need to look at, and if that's the case then I'm just wasting time right now." he said and then began to chuckle for a little bit. He was indeed happy that he met this woman, for she was extremely nice and beautiful. Okashii wondered what her true story was though, he for some reason got a vibe that she was less innocent then she was letting off. He wasn't really going to ask her about it right then, or maybe not even at all. A little frown came onto his face all the sudden but the blonde haired man quickly changed it back to a grin and awaited her response.

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

She laughed breathlessly, her eyes wide with excitement at the thought of experiencing his jutsu. She had heard all about the Tengoku but never having been in a spar or fight with him, she had never had the thrill of watching it in motion. Wistfully, Ruii wished she possessed the Sharingan so she could see it more clearly, but even then she knew it would be nearly impossible to track. Having the urge to say yes, and see such a masterpiece was nearly overwhelming for the woman. It was like a river, bubbling, bubbling; the water rising until it overflowed over the edges and began pushing against the dam. She knew she had the choice to let the water flow, or hold it back.

Smiling, she continued holding his hand; the feeling of his warmth sending shivers up her spine. It was nice, not having her hands freeze and seem cold to the touch. She had always felt like she didn't belong because of it; having always noticed everyone sweating in the hot weather that so suddenly disappeared and cooled. It was nice, she thought again. Looking back at him; she contemplated what to do. They could take their time and see part of the village, but stop and smell the roses as she so called it. It was a ritual to her, to just relax and see things that were so little that you could only notice if you took the time to. Ruii was a very simple person if she thought about it; she didn't want much in life other than to enjoy it and grow as a person. Anything else that came along was a bonus.

Shuffling her feet, she smiled up at him, letting out a laugh, "Okashii-kun, you just want to get closer to me!" The woman was joking, her eyes twinkling with the mischief that never seemed to leave them. Nudging him lightly in the ribs with an elbow; her shirt swaying with the movement, The azure haired shinobi winked. It was fun, flirting and joking with him without feeling the nervousness of meeting someone new. She felt comfortable in his ever glowing presence, although the leering crowd that was beginning to form around them wasn't very nice. She could feel their stares on her and the man beside her, some people trying to stab daggers into them with their eyes while others merely looked on curiously. Ruii wasn't used to crowds, having been an ANBU for a good 3 years. She was used to slinking around in the shadows unnoticed, not being the main attraction.

Looking visibly uncomfortable with the building crowd, she shuffled her feet, kicking a rock lightly. Tucking a lock of hair behind her ear, she blushed red, her cheeks rosy as she tried not to stare at the crowd of villagers and shinobi alike. not many people knew who she was and the ninja who automatically identified Okashii gave her funny looks. "Kami," she muttered darkly under her breath, "Why don't they take picture?" not thinking she could take the open staring for too much longer, Ruii blinked, smiling slightly before 'tripping' over her own feet and falling into the blonde haired man. She hadn't of course, but the looks on everyone's faces made a giggle escape her lips and leaning in close to his ear, she whispered the direction to one of her favorite places. "Go north, just past the kazekage building." it was a restaurant of course, where she spent a lot of time with her squad when they 'bonded.' Besides, if the urge to spar did appear, there was a large area of untouched desert behind it.

(Move topic?)

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by Last Temptation Fri Dec 12, 2008 6:47 pm

(We don't really have to yet.)

Okashii nodded for a second and looked around. He began to wonder what the villagers faces were going to look like when they all the sudden just dissapeared and left. It made him chuckle for a second to himself. He put one arm up and began to wave at them. They all looked pretty confused, which was why Okashii was so amused by it. He loved when people had no idea what the heck was going on. He stuck his tough out. "Tengoku.." he said quietly to himself and then instantly teleported them north, but not exactly where they wanted to go. Okashii was extremely confused, he figured that he would have had it spot on but it seemed like he didn't for the place that they actually ended up in was really suprising, even for him as many times that he had used that technique. He sighed to himself while the woman was still holding on to him. He just couldn't figure out the reason.

They were in a house, a large broken down house. Inside the house was something to make a person scream. There was skeletons hanging from the roof and spider webs everywhere. Okashii was simply more confused than scared. He had no idea why his techique wasn't accurate. It was as if he wasn't even paying attention to the fact that the house was that weird. He stood there just staring up, not really even paying attention to what was going on there. A few seconds later he began looking around and jumped. "Wha...." he said to himself now even more confused. "Now this is just terrible. The people here obviously don't know the proper way to decorate a house, it's pathetic." he stated while still looking around. The fact that he had the time to make fun of the people obviously meant that he wasn't very scared. Infact without much further time he began to laugh about how bad he thought they made their home look, whoever it was that lived there.

"Come on, let's go." he stated grabbing her hand and pulling her along with him. He began to run up the stairs. They seemed to be long and one of them snapped as he stepped on it. He hoped over it and picked her up she she wouldn't fall either and then set her back down and began pulling her again. "I need to find the person of this house and tell them how horrible of a person they are for thinking that this home is a nice place to live in!" he stated. This side of Okashii was the side that people really found funny, the fact that he always cared enough to the fact that it didn't matter who the person was if he didn't like something he was going to tell them about it no matter what they do or say. He will do anything to make it better. As they got up, they reached a long dark hallway that Okashii was fairly interested in seeing where it leading. However most people would probably run away, most people with a brain.

Okashii pointed the hallway and shouted. "Hey, if you're somewhere here we are going to find you!" He then began running straight for it. Straight into the long hallway at top speeds. There was something weird about it, Okashii began to notice as they ran farther and farther. "It seems....everytime we run a distance it get's father and farther." he said still running. He stopped for a second and thought about it, then had an interesting idea. "Hmph." he said while still holding on to her and making the repel sign. "Kai." he said. After that, they appeared to be in someone's living room. A normal home, nothing wrong about it. Okashiii could smell cookies coming from the other room. He ran in there quickly. Once he did, he saw an old woman sitting at the table. "Hello, Okashii Namikaze and Ruii Hyuuga." she said, just sitting smoking a pipe. "I've been expecting you." Okashii's facial expression was that of confusion, he had no idea how she knew who they were.

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by xoxKitKat Thu Dec 18, 2008 1:11 pm

"What on earth..?" Ruii faded off, her eyes wide in confusion, the fading question dying off like the room around them. It was eerily quiet, the silence stretching on as the two looked around first in bewilderment, and then second in awe. The room was a total disaster, almost like a hurricane blew through, throwing the furniture and supplies around followed by a miraculous flood that sunk into the wood and walls, forever staining them with water. She smelt a distinct scent of rot, and she wasn't surprised, seeing the condition of the room before her. What if the entire house was like this? Speaking of house, she thought idly, her eyes roaming over the now dusty and nearly suffocating room, why had she never seen this one before? Surely the damage on the inside was as bad as the outside? Ruii thought she knew every nick and cranny of Sunagakure, having spent most of her childhood causing mischief around town, so how could she have missed this?

Having the urge to step forward, the woman walked toward a desk, coughing as centuries of dust blew up into her face. She blinked furiously, shielding her eyes from the attack of tiny particles that made her skin itch. Batting in front of her face, she watched with awe as she slid her other hands fingertips over the once beautiful oak. Even with the lightest touch she watched as millimeters of dust that had been collecting came off on her fingers, tainting her skin. The woman had never seen a more disastrous sight in her life and she was very much interested in it. But for some reason, the shinobi knew something was amiss. Her instinct was something she relayed in and on quite a few occasions she had come to a decision that was based solely off of what she was feeling at the time. Right now, there was an odd tingling, a warning sign if you will, that something was off about this chamber. It puzzled the girl, and as stood, contemplating it, she felt a warm hand enfold hers in his own and soon, Ruii was being dragged behind Okashii as he went on about the person not taking care of their house.

She gaped, eyes wide as he continued his little rant about hygiene, all the while pulling her up the stairs. Gaining back some thought, she began taking the steps all on her own, picking up her pace so she was right beside the man. Ruii smiled, inwardly laughing as he went on so single-mindlessly. It was cute, she thought mildly, her eyes widened with unexpected humor on the subject. coming to the end of the steps, she successfully landed on the top, the ball of her foot pushing off the ground before she was fully over, not missing a beat as the Namikaze continued on his way. As they ran, she felt the uncomfortable feeling once again and soon she found herself unconsciously rubbing her arms in an attention to ride herself of it. Surely, there was a reason...

Ruii faded off, her eyes widening for a moment as a thought hit her. There could only be one reason she had never seen such a rickety old house before, or maybe she smiled widely, the fact was she HAD seen the manor, but simply in a different light. Smiling, the woman was about to state something on the matter when she looked over and out of the corner of her eye, she saw Okashii create the needed hand sign and said the jutsu, breaking the genjutsu. He had come to the same conclusion she had, but with different evidence. Smiling at his intellect, she let out a laugh as he shouted out how they were going to find whoever owned the place. It was like a souped up game of hide and go seek, ninja style! Grinning out of good humor, she rounded the corner with the Sannin and came to an aprupt halt as she saw the elderly woman sitting calmly in a chair, a pipe touching her mouth. Ruii had never seen this woman before, but yet she felt a slight familiarity. Shaking her head, eyes wide, she spoke softly, a puzzled look taking over her features, "Hello, wise one. How do you know our names?"

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Okashii grinned for a second as he saw the woman. Something unknown to him had him prepared for something like this. It was almost as if he actually knew her, previously that is. He thought about how she had used illusion arts to trap them, he deducted that because of that she was probably a very powerful and important person or people were just simply out to get her. Either way, he wanted to know more. He thought about saying something before the woman could answer, he wanted to really give her a suprise. He had no idea why he knew what he did, but he just let it go. He figured it was because of fate. He believed in that kind of stuff unlike most people that did the work that he did. He knew that they were both brought there for some kind of reason and if Ruii was a believer of fate she would too but he didn't expect her to be. Without saying a word he grabbed a seat that was next to her and sat down. He was interested in what she had to say, for it could he really helpful.

There was cookies that layed out of a table infront of him. He leaned over and went for one only to find that his hand was slapped. "You ask if you want any, kid." she said with a serious look on her face. Okashii was suprised that an old lady would even carry some cookies so high, like she was going to eat them all or something. "I'll take cookies when I want you old bag!" he yelled out and then grabbed a cookie and ate it. He had really never been told no before, it was an interesting site. The old woman kicked her chair out behind her and stood up while grabbing her walking stick. She then lifted it up and wacked Okashii straight on the head twice. "I said NO!" she yelled out. Okashii began holding his head his face turned red with anger but he didn't see a point in doing anything to an old lady. "Whatever....god..." he said folding his arms like a young boy. This was a unique thing for them, how they already had a certain kind of relationship. Someone who could finally keep the great Sannin in line and show him dicipline. The old woman then handed him the dish of cookies and he turned then away. "No thanks, now get down to buissness old lady prophet." he said.

Now the old womans face was lite up with confusion, she had no idea how the kid actually knew who she was. Of course he didn't know her name simply because she didn't really have a name. She had been a prophet all of her life, all 200 years of it. She had even been around when the first Hokage formed Konoha and everything. She had been in Suna for all those years and yet no one had ever known. She personally didn't like Konoha's shinobi too well but there was nothing she could do with that at this point. She had to help then no matter what. This wasn't just a matter of of their lives at stake but everyone on earths lives as well. Plus she had something to tell Okashii that would be extremely shocking for him to hear. Something that Okashii would have never seen coming in about a million years. The woman was extremely valueable, which was why she had her house hidden like that simply so that no one could try to come in and kidnap her to use her powers, for it had happened before. Konoha had sent Shinobi after her, not that it mattered because she was pretty strong, she was able to kill every single ninja that was sent after her.

She cleared her thought for a few seconds and she stopped the suprised look on her face. "You've been sent here so I can warn you.." she stated. Okashii's eyes widened for a second when he heard that first sentence. Warn them, what could she warn them about. "New alliances will form, ones that intend to kill innocent people..You among other people are the only people that will be capable of stopping them." she stated. Okashii smirked for a second. This was exactly what he wanted, some action. Although he had a little trouble believing something like that, as messed up as it was it was something that he wanted to hear. "Hmmm, if you're referring to the akatsuki that's something that everyone knows about." Okashii stated. "And yet you are still unprepared." she said with her head down and a smirk on her face. "You still haven't found a Hokage yet....have you?" she asked. That was when he definitely started believing that she was truly a prophet. She intended to wait untill more important things could be discussed first before she started talking about the one issue with Okashii, or rather it wasn't an issue.

Keeping a Promise -Private- Empty Re: Keeping a Promise -Private-

Post by xoxKitKat Mon Dec 22, 2008 1:39 pm

It was odd, she thought, to watch the man she respected highly to act without disregard to the woman at first. Ruii had literally gaped when Okashii had taken the cookie without the woman's permission, it was a little astonishing for the 20 year old who grew up around proper order. As she watched, the woman who was supposedly a prophet smacked the Sannin on the head and silently she wondered if she was dreaming up this scene. It seemed so different and unbelievable that she didn't even comment on it, instead seating herself to the left of Okashii, her body relaxing into the chair, the muscles which had been reacting to the situation unwinding.

Quietly she sat, her back straight and feet placed firmly on the ground. She seemed to not even be acknowledged into the conversation, but Ruii didn't think too much of it, instead she merely kept still and silent, knowing from past experiences that you learn more listening than when you speak. Interlocking her fingers, she smiled inwardly, contemplating the situation. Things seems to be spinning out of control lately, making it hard for her to believe everything that was happening around. It was like a dream, something that started out so wonderfully beautiful and then suddenly; nothing. Everything went to the dogs and here she was, sitting beside her idol and this prophet who seemed to know what she was talking about. It was like a weird vision, and Ruii was afraid that if she moved a single bit, she'd break the illusion and find herself part of something so unfamiliar.

It was hard to listen to them talk, knowing that this discussion was merely a vague idea because she was there. It made her itch like the chicken pocks; a secret that was passed along to everyone's ears but her own. If she had nothing to do with anything, then she shouldn't be here, she thought wryly, her tone slightly annoyed. It was hard to not know everything and because of her rank, she knew she was rather lucky to have access to a large amount of information. It wouldn't be so bad if she wasn't indulged for once in her life, but something about this topic seemed more important then anything before it. She had a distinct feeling that involuntarily sent a shiver down her elegant spine.

Calming herself down, the shinobi sent the uncomfortable feeling to the back of her head, deciding to dwell on it later where she can bring her ideas to the open air and see if they fit in and were calculated better. Leaning back against the back of the chair carefully, her movements slow and calculated, the woman continued to be silent, deciding there was nothing to be said and there was no need for it anyway. If they wanted to add her into the conversation, then they would; and if they didn't that was fine too. She would learn more.
